Due to my interest in contemporary art I led writing workshops at various institutions in London, including the Victoria and Albert Museum. After finishing a Master’s in Creative Writing at UEA in 2001 I worked in a marketing communications agency, and then put on exhibitions of work by emerging local artists through Prince’s Trust funding from 2003 – 2004. I also delivered talks on objects at the Sainsbury’s Centre for Visual Arts, Norwich and facilitated poetry writing workshops there. Following that I fell into teaching and still enjoy it. Currently an academic skills lecturer working on the transition into becoming a professional art historian via a PhD.
